"Homecoming at Christmas is more than returning to a place—it's finding warmth in the hearts of loved ones, the joy of shared memories, and the peace of knowing you're right where you belong."

Welcome to season 10 called the “Shadows”.

Are you a parent? My guest today is Lori Wildenberg. Who’s a licensed parent and family educator and author of  6 parenting books. Lori believes strongly that young people today are under attack. She wants parents to know there is hope within the shadow. Have you heard your young person say these statements? “I’m such a failure.” “No one cares about me.” “I haven’t felt happy for a long time.”  “I don’t want to live anymore. What can you do to help them? Some experts say that depression and anxiety are the new normal. Suicide is the second leading cause of death in young people. Lori is here to share why she wrote her book “Messy Hope” and how it can be a great resource to help parents navigate these challenging times with their young people. She truly believes there can be hope within the shadows. Join me as I try on Lori’s Chacos shoes.
